Labcon UVSafe™ Centrifuge Tubes are designed to block 100% of Ultra violet light. They can be used instead of foil to shield samples sensitive to UV band radiation. They have been lab tested and certified to block UV light, but will still pass visible light so you can see your sample volume. These tubes are tested and validated to spin to 12,500 x G in most popular centrifuge rotors. Both 15mL and 50mL include a plug seal style cap with deep sealing areas. All package versions are sterilized with a validated and approved ISO 11137 medical grade method to an SAL of 10-6. Racked tubes are packaged in a recyclable fiber rack.
